Amendment #2: Attachment B – Statement of Work - has been revised. The addition of evaluation specifications (Section 3-1, page 2 of 4) are as follows: Specifically evaluate the following four provisions: a)Limiting non-emergency medical condition PIP benefits to $2,500. b)Individuals seeking PIP medical benefits must receive initial services and care within 14 days of the accident. c)Massage and acupuncture are not reimbursable. d)Attorney fee multipliers eliminated in No-Fault disputes and offer of judgment statute (s. 768.79, Florida Statutes) applied to PIP cases. The addition of the following bullet was added to page 3 of 4: “Premium impacts by Florida county and coverage for each of the scenarios above if legislation identical to SB 1088 (2015) was enacted.” For complete information regarding the details of this amendment please see Amendment 1 - Attachment B - Statement of Work attached below. ************************************** The State of Florida Department of Financial Services, Office of Insurance Regulation (“Office”) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to establish a contract for actuarial consulting services provide a draft and final report documenting its comprehensive study on the effect of HB 119 and the potential impact to Floridians if the personal injury protection coverage requirements were repealed and replaced with varying levels of bodily injury coverage, or if the current requirements to purchase auto insurance were completely repealed. The solicitation will be administered through the Vendor Bid System (VBS). Respondents interested in submitting a Response must comply with all of the terms and conditions described in this RFP.
