ITEM 1. Appointment of William Large, Esq., to serve as Administrative Law Judge in the case of Audrey Randolph v. Division of Administrative Hearings (FCHR Case No.: 98-3306)

RECOMMENDATION: Approval

Remarks:
In the above-referenced case, the Division of Administrative Hearings is a named party. Under Section 120.80, a case in which the "division is a party shall not be conducted by an administrative law judge assigned by the division. An attorney assigned by the Administration Commission shall be the hearing officer."

In compliance with this requirement, staff recommends that the Commission appoint William Large, Esquire to serve as the Administrative Law Judge in this case on a pro bono basis. Mr. Large currently serves as the General Counsel to the Department of Health and his resume is included in the background material attached.
