ITEM 1. Request approval of the minutes of July 23, 1996. (Attachment 1)

RECOMMEND APPROVAL

ITEM 2. Request permission to submit the Department of Revenue's 1997-98 Legislative Budget Request to the Executive Office of the Governor and Legislature. (Attachment 2)

This request focuses on continuation issues which are necessary to the Department's mission. It represents a 5.1% increase in funding and a net increase of 38 positions.

RECOMMEND APPROVAL

ITEM 3. Request permission to submit the Department of Revenue's Agency Capital Improvements Program to the Executive Office of the Governor and Legislature. (Attachment 3)

This program is designed to identify the space needs of the Department over the next five years. These needs are based upon a projected increased workload due to the growth in the taxpayer base and increased child support collections.
