ITEM 2. Request permission to submit the Department of Revenue’s 1999-2000 Legislative Budget Request to the Executive Office of the Governor and Legislature.

This request focuses on continuation issues which are necessary to the Department’s mission. It represents an 8% increase in funding over the 1998-99 appropriation and an increase of 30 positions, equating to a requested increase in positions of 0.5%. It also includes a request for funding to provide five buildings to house DOR at the Capital Circle Office Complex.

ITEM 3. Request permission to submit the Department of Revenue’s Agency Capital Improvements Program to the Executive Office of the Governor and Legislature.

This program is designed to identify the space needs of the Department over the next five years. These needs are based upon a projected increased workload.

ITEM 4. Request approval and acceptance of the Performance Contract of the Executive Director of the Department of Revenue for 1998-99.
